KA171 International Credit Mobility

International Credit Mobility - KA171

While the Erasmus KA131 program only covers program countries (generally in Europe), the KA171 program opens the opportunity for mobility with partner countries (non-European countries).

Students and academics from the relevant departments can participate in exchange mobility within the framework of this program. Students can benefit from study and internship mobility, while staff can participate in teaching and training mobility.

Process Overview:

  • Each year, a project is prepared by the academic staff of the department and shared with the Erasmus Office.
  • The Erasmus Office consolidates department project requests into a single project and finalizes the writing process for the relevant departments.
  • The Erasmus Office submits the application to the National Agency on behalf of the institution.
  • The application undergoes a quality and evaluation process. Mobility of students and staff can take place with countries that score 60 points or above during the evaluation process.
  • Students and staff from the relevant departments are selected for mobility from successful projects that receive funding.
  • The project supports both incoming and outgoing student and staff mobility.
