The Erasmus+ KA171 International Credit Mobility program allows students and staff to participate in academic exchange activities with partner universities outside Europe.
It promotes international collaboration, cultural understanding, and knowledge exchange between Tarsus University and its global partners.
Study Mobility:
Participate in courses at a partner university for one semester or term. The credits earned abroad are fully recognized at partner universities.
Internship Mobility (Traineeship):
Gain hands-on experience through professional training in companies, laboratories, or research centers abroad.
Teaching Mobility:
Academic staff can deliver lectures or teach short modules at a partner university, contributing to international curriculum development.
Training Mobility:
Academic and administrative personnel can take part in professional development, job-shadowing, or structured training activities abroad.
Short-Term Research Mobility:
PhD students can conduct research, collect data, or collaborate with co-supervisors at partner institutions abroad.
Internship / Field Research Mobility:
Doctoral researchers may engage in applied research or project-based internships to enhance academic depth and global research collaboration.
Mobility is open to both incoming and outgoing participants.
Activities are supported by EU-funded individual and travel grants according to the host country.
All processes are managed under the coordination of the Erasmus Office of Tarsus University.
The program is governed by the Erasmus+ KA171 Implementation Handbook published annually by the Turkish National Agency.
Review the KA171 Call for Applications announced on the Erasmus website.
Complete the relevant application form (student or staff).
Submit the required documents by the deadline indicated in the announcement.
Applications are evaluated by the University Erasmus Committee according to transparent selection criteria.
Project duration: 36 months
Mobility duration:
Students: 5–30 days (short-term) or 2–5 months (long-term)
Staff: 5–60 days (excluding travel days)
Funding includes:
Individual Support: Daily or monthly grants according to destination country.
Travel Support: Lump-sum contribution based on distance (EU travel calculator).
