Steps for incoming Students

Dear Erasmus Exchange Student,

We are very pleased to welcome you as an exchange student at Tarsus University.

To obtain an Acceptance Letter, you need to prepare the following documents:

1) Application Form
2) Learning agreement
3) Passport/ID copy
 
Once your documents are ready, you need to send them us via email.
For a smooth preparation of your Exchange in Tarsus, please read the following information carefully.
  1. The fall term stars on 25 September 2023 and ends on 30th of January 2024, so we recommend your arrival according to this date. Please inform us about your travelling.
  2. The final exams takes place between 08-19 January 2024.
  3. Now, you may arrange your accommodation. If you need help, we are happy to help you with this.
  4. Check out the Erasmus Office Website https://erasmus.tarsus.edu.tr/ for any information needed and Bologna web page http://bologna.tarsus.edu.tr/en for an overview on the courses taught in English, you are welcomed to take courses in Turkish, too.

  6. Please, make sure that you filled in the Learning Agreement and it is fully signed by all parties.
  7. Self- Study Turkish language courses will be arranged to you upon your interest. We highly recommend you to visit Yunus Emre Enstitüsü https://www.yee.org.tr/en to gain a general perspective on Turkish language. You will need to have some Turkish skills to communicate with local people of Tarsus.
  8. The closest airport to Tarsus is in nearby city, Adana. It takes about 45 by driving to arrive at Tarsus University from Adana Airport. There is often shuttle buses running from the airport.  We will guide you on your arrival.
